Adelaide University Student Association (AUSA) is the new student association formed by a merger between the University of Adelaide and the University of South Australia into Adelaide University.
AUSA provides student
representation, advocacy and community engagement services at Adelaide University.

If you’re familiar with either previous student association at the University of Adelaide (YouX) or University of South Australia (USASA), then you already have a good idea of how these services support the university experience.

If you’re not, AUSA exists to enhance the student experience at Adelaide University, helping students to build their identity and develop the skills and connections that shape their time at university and beyond. AUSA is governed by a student-led Board and managed by professional staff overseeing its operations. AUSA staff also support elected student representatives in the work that they do with the University and other stakeholders.

AUSA has been founded from the merging of two renowned student associations, YouX and USASA, both who have been supporting university students for decades. This new collaboration will use the knowledge and expertise of both founding organisations to provide one of the best student experiences in Australia, with an amazing offering of events, activities, advocacy, support, welfare, representation, and more.
