First Aid & CPR Training Course Friday March 27

1. FIRST you must log on to the AUSA website using your Adelaide University Student Log On details. (top right of this webpage)
2. Press the Buy button (located under Tickets) then go to the basket (top right corner) to purchase your ticket.
3. To PAY:
- First check the item information is correct. Press PROCEED TO CHECKOUT
- Fill in your enrolment details. Press CONTINUE
- Check your enrolment details are correct. If they are, press PAY NOW (bottom left under STRIPE)
- Payment can be made with a Debit/Credit Card or your Link account
Once your payment has been processed you will receive an email from the training provider First in First Aid with the online module details, closer to the training date.

This First Aid & CPR Course includes:
HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid
HLTAID010 – Provide basic emergency life support
HLTAID009 – Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
This course will provide you with an understanding of how to apply an immediate emergency response to a suddenly sick or injured person. The course covers basic life support, management of casualty(s), the incident and other first aiders or bystanders until the arrival of medical or other assistance. This course is relevant in a range of situations, including in the home, workplace or within the community,
This course is delivered in accordance with State/Territory First Aid Codes of Practice, Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines and workplace procedures, allowing your workplace to meet its legal requirements in relation to the provision of first aid in the workplace.
Our professional trainers will guide you through the knowledge and skills to give you the confidence to respond to or manage an emergency situation.
Course Duration: 8 hours face to face training plus pre-course workbook
Pre Course Online Workbook
An online First Aid workbook needs to be completed prior to course commencement. The online workbook link and log in details are emailed to participants once enrolment is received.
Assessment
This course employs a variety of assessment methods in order to determine competency. These include verbal questioning, multiple choice questions, practical scenarios and demonstration.
