Training course includes - 1 full 6hr face to face training day and an online Knowledge Assessment Examination that you are required to complete prior to your course day. You will not be able to attend the course if you fail to complete the online examination first. 

You have a choice of 3 training facilities, located at Adelaide CBD, Morphett Vale or Salisbury.

2. Press the Buy button (located under Tickets) then go to the basket (top right corner) to purchase your ticket. 

3. To PAY: 

• First check the item information is correct. Press PROCEED TO CHECKOUT
• Fill in your enrolment details. Press CONTINUE
• Check your enrolment details are correct. If they are, press PAY NOW. (bottom left under STRIPE)
• You can use Debit/Credit Card or you Link account to purchase this course.

Once your payment has been processed you will receive an email with instructions on how to BOOK your training course. It may take up to 5 working days to receive this email.

Course Requirements

All students require a USI Number before enrolling. To create your Free USI number visit www.usi.gov.au

As well as:

• Present Photo ID on the day
• Permit a photo on the day of head, neck, and shoulders
• Be able to locate and recognise numbers commonly used in safety signs.
• Communicate effectively by asking questions to clarify instructions and pointing out a construction problem or hazard.
• Read and follow simple pictorial safety instructions and simple safety instructions written in English.
• Notify the office if you need any additional literacy or numeracy support
• Complete pre-course learning and pre-course quiz

CPCWHS1001: Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry is the official qualification needed to commence construction work on a construction site Australia-wide.

Over a comprehensive 6-hour training, you’ll dive into essential topics like workplace health and safety regulations, hazard identification, risk assessment, and effective health and safety reporting processes. Our interactive approach combines written assessments, oral presentations, and practical demonstrations, ensuring you’re fully equipped to handle OHS incidents and emergency procedures.

You’ll learn the practical use of personal protective equipment (PPE) – from hard hats to hi-vis vests – and understand their significance in maintaining a safe work environment.
