Harvesting 2

This activity will take place outdoors and will focus on the process of extracting honey and beeswax. Participants will spend approximately one hour observing and taking part in the honey extraction process, learning how honey is collected from the hive and how beeswax is separated.

After the extraction, we will host a hands-on workshop where participants will filter the freshly harvested honey and explore different ways to use beeswax. During the workshop, we will demonstrate and create a few simple beeswax products, allowing participants to see how raw beeswax can be transformed into useful, natural items.

This activity provides a practical learning experience that highlights sustainable practices, bee care, and the value of bee-derived products, while giving participants the opportunity to engage directly with the process from hive to finished product.
