Participants needed for Antibiotics and Vaccine Immune Responses Study (80 positions)

Researchers from SAHMRI, Flinders University and SA Health are looking for healthy adults aged 18-35 who have never had the BCG (tuberculosis) vaccine to participate in the Antibiotics and Immune Responses Study

(AVIRS). Participants will receive up to $750 reimbursement for their time.

You may be able to participate if you:

• Are a healthy adult (18-35 years old) living in Adelaide.
• Have not had a previous BCG (tuberculosis) vaccination or Yellow Fever vaccination.
• Are not pregnant or breastfeeding or planning to become pregnant.
• Are willing to attend study visits over a 4-7 month period, where blood samples will be collected.
• Are willing to take a short course of antibiotics and undergo two vaccinations.
