About the Opportunity
Are you studying Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, Business, Commerce or Marketing and looking for real-world experience while you complete your degree? This casual position has been designed for a university student or recent graduate who wants genuine exposure to the architecture and design industry.
Working alongside our Directors, Tom and Mel Anderson, you'll gain insight into how premium products are specified, how relationships with architects and designers are built, and how projects move from concept through to completion.
This is far more than a retail role. You'll become part of a small business that works closely with many of South Australia's leading design practices,builders and homeowners.
The position is offered on a casual basis with 1–2 days per week, providing flexibility around your university timetable. For the right person, there is potential for the role to grow into a permanent position as both your career and our business evolve.
What You'll Be Involved In
• Working directly with the Directors in a collaborative, supportive environment.
• Welcoming architects, interior designers, builders and homeowners into the showroom.
• Assisting with client presentations and creating an exceptional showroom experience.
• Learning about premium timber flooring, luxury fireplaces and interior finishes.
• Maintaining the presentation of our showroom and displays.
• Assisting with product samples, administration and general showroom operations.
• Supporting networking events, supplier presentations and client functions.
• Contributing ideas that improve the customer experience and strengthen our brand.
• Keeping up to date with architecture, interior design and product trends.
