Do you like anime? Manga? Gacha games? Or Japanese culture in general? Then the Adelaide University Anime Club (AUAC) is the place for you! We are a free-to-join club open to students and non-students alike, based in the North Terrace campus. We screen the more niche, hidden gem anime that you may have never seen or heard of! Whether you are a veteran weeb or someone just getting into anime, we welcome all. Our main events during the semester are: Social hangouts sessions on Mondays from 4pm-8pm in the Clubs Lounge, where we chat and relax and eat free snacks. Screening sessions on Fridays from 5pm-8:30pm in Napier G04, where we watch seven anime over the course of each semester. Additionally, we also: Run quarterly seasonal-preview event showcasing the first episode of every new anime to air each season. Do collaborative screening events based around a particular theme.
