SMSA aims to establish a vibrant community that brings together medical students from Singapore. Our goal is to foster camaraderie, provide academic support, outreach and networking opportunities! To represent and advocate for all Singaporean medical students studying at The University of Adelaide (UoA) Medical School Education: To develop a culture of teaching and education for UoA Singaporean medical students To enhance the educational experience of UoA Singaporean Medical Students through planning theoretical and practical tutorials, workshops, Mock Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs) and developing a centralised educational resource To equip UoA Singaporean Medical Students with the necessary skills and training Networking: To serve as a platform for members to network with other members, alumni, and Singaporean doctors through events To serve as a liaison between UoA Singaporean medical students and Singaporean Healthcare Institutions To provide up to date information for members about training and career opportunities in both Singapore and Adelaide. Outreach To encourage active participation in community service and outreach activities, both in Adelaide and Singapore
