First Aid & CPR Training Course Tuesday September 15

The training is a combination of online module work and face to face training on September 15. You must complete the online module work prior to your face-to-face training. This course is only available to enrolled Adelaide University students

Normally $135 NOW $ 50 for all enrolled Adelaide University Students (numbers are limited so booked early)

Time: 9am start - 3.30pm finish

Where: Ingkarni Wardli Building Conference Rm 7.15. Adelaide University City East Campus

1. FIRST: log on to the AUSA website using your Adelaide University Student Log On details. (top right of this webpage)

2. Press the Buy button (located under Tickets) then go to the basket (top right corner) to purchase your ticket. 

3. To PAY: 

• First check the item information is correct. Press PROCEED TO CHECKOUT
• Fill in your enrolment details. Press CONTINUE
• Check your enrolment details are correct. If they are, press PAY NOW (bottom left under STRIPE)
• Payment can be made with a Debit/Credit Card or your Link account

You will receive an email containing your online module link up to 5 days after your payment has been received. This online module must be completed prior to your training day.

This First Aid & CPR Course includes:

HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid

HLTAID010 – Provide basic emergency life support

HLTAID009 – Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation

This course will provide you with an understanding of how to apply an immediate emergency response to a suddenly sick or injured person.  The course covers basic life support, management of casualty(s), the incident and other first aiders or bystanders until the arrival of medical or other assistance. This course is relevant in a range of situations, including in the home, workplace or within the community,  

This course is delivered in accordance with State/Territory First Aid Codes of Practice, Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines and workplace procedures, allowing your workplace to meet its legal requirements in relation to the provision of first aid in the workplace.

Our professional trainers will guide you through the knowledge and skills to give you the confidence to respond to or manage an emergency situation.  

Course Duration: 8 hours face to face training plus pre-course workbook

Pre Course Online Workbook

An online First Aid workbook must be completed prior to training. You cannot participate in the face-to-face training if you have not completed the module work. The online workbook link and log in details are emailed to participants once enrolment is received. 

Assessment

This course employs a variety of assessment methods in order to determine competency. These include verbal questioning, multiple choice questions, practical scenarios and demonstration. Once you have successfully completed your online module and face-to-face training you will received a certified Certificate.

After you have purchased your ticket, you will receive an email confirming your purchase and include you online module link. Attendance to the face-to-face training can only occur if you have completed this online module.
