Ripple Tutoring is looking for friendly, reliable Maths and English tutors to join our growing team, with a particular need for tutors based in Adelaide’s Northern Suburbs.
We provide personalised 1:1 tutoring to students from Reception to Year 10, with a strong focus on building confidence, strengthening foundational skills and helping students genuinely understand what they are learning.
Tutors are matched with students based on location, availability, subject strengths and personality. Most lessons take place after school in the student’s home, with ongoing weekly sessions. We provide lesson plans, activities and resources, so tutors are supported with what to teach and how to structure their sessions.
What we offer:
• $30–$40 per hour, depending on experience
• Superannuation paid on top
• Additional travel pay where applicable
• Flexible hours that can work around university and study
• Lesson plans and resources provided
• Ongoing support from the Ripple team
• Opportunity to build experience working one-on-one with children and teenagers
What we’re looking for
• Confident supporting students with Maths and/or English
• Friendly, patient and comfortable working with children
• Reliable and able to commit to regular students
• Reliable transportation
• A current Working With Children Check (WWCC), or willingness to obtain one
• Availability during some after-school hours
No previous tutoring experience is required! Training, resources and ongoing support are provided. We are currently particularly interested in applicants living in or around Adelaide’s Northern Suburbs.
