FMAA Adelaide is the Adelaide University branch of the Financial Management Association of Australia (FMAA), an established student-led organisation connecting university students with careers in finance, consulting and professional services.
Founded in 1990 at the University of Melbourne with the support of founding sponsor Macquarie Group, FMAA has grown into a national community of more than 7,400 student members across seven universities, supported by over 80 sponsor firms nationally. Its network spans the University of Melbourne, the University of Sydney, the University of Queensland, UNSW, Monash University, the Australian National University and Adelaide University.
For more than three decades, FMAA has helped students develop career awareness and connect with employers through industry events, professional development opportunities, case competitions and career resources. Its national network brings together students, alumni and professionals across investment banking, asset management, consulting, banking and professional services.
Established in 2026 as FMAA’s first South Australian branch, FMAA Adelaide brings that network to our local student community. We connect students with the people, skills and opportunities to take their next step, whether that means discovering a career path, preparing for a first internship or deciding where to go after graduation.
